status report: I am starting the actual scriptwriting. as it is right now, there's branches, alternate dialouge, and choice limitations depending on what your responses are at the beginning of the game (Ch. 1). the 1st demo will probably be the first two actual chapters (Ch. 1 and 2) of the game.

progress will be SLOW due to school starting tomarrow for me.

(also, I have developed a disliking for case-sensitive syntax... as well as the engine giving me hell because I forgot one colon and a couple blank lines at the end.)

alright, I might as well update here since I practically said I'd update this over at GaiaOnline... anyhow, here's the general plan...

-over christmas break, try and "take over" (I mean this loosely) a computer to use to script the first chapter or so.

-in the months preceding NaNoRenO (January and February), do off-and-on scripting for TOZSP [and maybe a directly related side project... may have to ask PyTom a couple questions on the permanent variable storage file (as if I didn't leave enough clues as to what it could be)] as well as try and bring the NaNoRenO to my ENTIRE english class's attention.

-IN NaNoRenO, don't expect just a single game if I can help it... but it won't be 2 games though.

-AFTER NaNoRenO: don't know. depends on a lot of things.

Chuck, go ahead and work on the other characters, I'll try and clean up the "Beta" character image for the game.

Hummm, I get the feeling I have to start working again >.<

alrighty, I've decided to allow you guys to speculate on what some of the events will be in the game. remember: this does NOT reflect what I am using to work with as far as scripting.

make sure you have labyrinth installed to view the file.

and as a special little bonus, if a lot of lemmasoft users (read NOT JUST 3 or 4!) actually manage to guess the mystery items ("??????", for instance) on the charts, I'll fill them in.
