library has been deprecated for several years now, and went away in the most recent release. Instead of library.translations, please use config.translations.

Instead of library.translations, please use config.translations.
Thanks! This solved everything.

Also, I reduced the unpacked size by removing the duplicate sounds and the menu pictures, so this version is pretty much it.

EDIT: Just to make it more transparent, I moved the opening post here, so that it doesn't distract.
opening wrote:Hi everyone,

I made a multi version of The Question, combining all the current 21 languages and 10 extra translations that we have for it.

It's really a quick and neanderthal hard-copying way of compiling it all together (I could only do it on Windows). It can probably use some optimizing, especially illurock.ogg and menu.jpg. Some day. I'm just glad it works.

Anyway, If you'd like, you can check if everything works properly - or just have fun with it.

One thing I'd like to ask: Whenever I want to add the rpy files with menu translations, I get this error: Can someone help? (in this example, I added the German menu translations). I'd really like to add the menu translations where possible. If you want to test them, look for the UI links here: http://rentarot.angelfire.com/questions.htm and just rename the files to something that ends with .rpy, preferrably ui.rpy.

Code: Select all

I'm sorry, but an exception occured while executing your Ren'Py

In case you're still taking submissions, I made a gag translation into "DnD Speak". The story itself is left virtually untouched, it's just being told like it was a role-playing session.

Out of all of these, marketing speak definitely was the funniest.

The Yoda speak seems broken, since Yoda doesn't really speak like that...
