Are you using photoshop? You can save images as PNG without transparency or can you save them with. I'm guessing you're doing the former. However, if your image has a white background in photoshop instead of a checkered one then it probably isn't transparent to begin with. If you want some help I'll PM you my email address, you can send me a sprite and I can fix it and tell you how.

Azure: I have three in mind so far...
--A single portrait of the main character, maybe a cute picture of her in full succubus form
--One with the demon Prince and the main character
--Or a school scene with the main character in a classroom setting with the human guys.

Dstar: I wish I had photoshop, but all I have is GIMP. But now that you mention about the white background I think I know what to do. When I start layering in GIMP I usually have to make a copy of the line art, delete the original, and make a new layer. After marking my line art as "Multiply" I then use the bucket tool to fill in the second layer with white so I can see the lines, after that I begin coloring.

Long story short, I should be able to delete that layer of white and end up with the tile-thingies again. But sometimes the tile-thingies are just black and not tiles at all...

One question that I'm been wondering for awhile....will the other 3 guys see the demon prince? Or will they even know the prince is there?

At first I planned to use "Minions" for the Prince, but now that I look things over I think I may give him a bigger part in ruining the main characters chance with the human guys...

OK I found another reason to like this game...will the 3 guys try to aid the main character when the Demon Prince gets in the way? Will they say *uh, no thanks* and leave her to fend off the Prince on her own? By adding that little piece that the Demon prince is going to make a point of getting in the way, I want to play it more!

I wasn't planning on the human guys having a choice in the matter. Since it's my first game I was going to keep it simple until I got used to the system. Though that would be fun to do... Like if you missed an event or something the human guy would be like, "This isn't worth my time..."

Ooh. I love the idea of having the human love interests react to the demon's interference. There is so much potential for emotional turmoil: jealousy, frustration, passion. XD
I'm excited this game. >_<
