That's just Mr. Gryphon. :3
I feel like playing favorites is kinda my downfall because I have two or three of the characters still pretty underdeveloped, one of whom is drastically underdeveloped. I'm trying to work on Arc 2 script, but I came up to her part, and I'm like, "Well damn. I've no idea how she would react to this." Every time I try to develop her, I just hit a blank or get distracted by the other characters. (-.-')
Hrmmm, seems that line spacing didn't fix the cutting off of the top of the text. >.>
Also, here's a link to that comic strip I started a few posts ago. Warning: lame ending is laaaaaaaaaame.

I don't think you should be seeing text cut off with line-spacing issues. However, Jack_Norton had a similar problem a while back, which turned out to be a problem with the font file, and PyTom said he'd fixed it in version 6.10.0e of Ren'Py.emihaumut wrote: is there a way to change the line spacing so the top of the text doesn't get cut off?
So the first question is: are you running a version previous to 6.10.0e? If you are, you could try upgrading to the latest version (6.11.2) and see if that fixes your cut-off-letters issue.

I've been using the latest Renpy. ^^; I've noticed that there are a few fonts that have the tops cut off. I guess I could choose a different font.

You could also bring the issue up with PyTom - it could be that there is something else wrong with Ren'Py, or possibly that there's something else Ren'Py could do to accomodate fonts with a particular kind of bad metadata.emihaumut wrote:I've been using the latest Renpy. ^^; I've noticed that there are a few fonts that have the tops cut off. (To be honest, though, fonts can be a bit of a pain to work out the sizes for, in my experience - the font creator is supposed to put enough information into the font file to be able to work out how much space each character needs, but it seems that this only happens about half the time...)

More random arts...
It plays into a funny situation in my head which I may draw out in comic form.

I meant to draw the guys too, but I got lazy. ^^;
On a side note, I may be in the market for a new composer, sigh.

Re: Rynspyr: Desert Pyrates -- I swear, the game is not drop
Just felt like saying that this game is still on my mind. Just kind of backburner'd to life and school (mainly school). Haven't dropped it or anything.
Haven't made much progress either sadly. Music's been.... absent. Sigh. I haven't heard from my music gal in a while. Oof. I don't know what to do about this whole music thing anymore. I've also been stuck on chapter 2's script. It's just not going in the right direction and I'm tempted to scrap it, but I don't know what to do in its place. (*A*) . Though, I think I can comfortably say that 10/11 of my characters are fairly well developed now. That last one still give me a lot of strife.
But yeah. Now that school's coming to a close (two more weeks @.@), it's time to get cracking on this again.

Alright, so I've been able to get ahold of my music gal now that school's out for the summer. Here's her rendition of Vaeryl's theme: [url]http://www.4shared.com/audio/5mddKISG/Vaeryl_4.html[/ur]. It still doesn't feel quite right to me, but I'm not sure what it is. I'd love to hear what you think of it.
