I can't wait to see you refine your style in future games.
Thank you, JT. I can't wait till I'm better at this, either. :D

Do you think I should try to give the sprites a blinking motion, or is that too advanced for a first project? What about having the sprites wear a different outfit each day-- I was really attached to that idea originally, but it looks like it'll be a lot more work. Do other people just have them wearing the same thing every day? Would it take too long to download it if there were that many sprites?

I don't think the eye blink will be to overly complicated, but you can wait until your done before implementing it just in case. Depending on how many scenes/days you got a lot of different outfits may be a lot of work, but you can have the girls in a school outfit and give them everyday clothes in the weekend to minimize how many clothes you'd have to make. But these are just suggestions, feel free to do what you want.

I like that your art is different than the usual, it makes it more unique in it's own right. I wish you luck on your VN.

I would definitely do the school uniform thing if the characters ever actually went to school. That's good because I don't have to draw classrooms, but bad because they'd be wearing something different each day. I think that the next game I make will have the characters attending a school with uniforms, just so I feel better about having them wear the same thing all the time.

Thank you for complimenting the art! Makes me happy to know it's not "different" in the "no redeeming qualities" kind of way. :D

@ risingdreams: Looking forward to your game, too! And thank you.

Not too advanced, but maybe just not necessary right now. I definitely agree with Midnighticequeen, it's usually better to think about such details when most of the VN is done. About the different outfits... I think most people just let their characters wear the same thing all the time. Sure, it's troublesome to draw them over and over again in different clothes, but it's a nice detail I'd really appreciate in a VN. So, if you feel like it and if it's something you'd like to see in your VN as well, go for it! :D Don't worry about the download - image files shouldn't be too much of a problem.

...and how come I haven't posted here before? I love your art, and I'm definitely looking forward to this! :)

Did you say yuri?! That's it, I'm definitely keeping an eye out for this game. :D

I don't have any editing experience and I'll be busy till about mid-January, but after that (if your game hasn't been released yet) I'll be happy to help out with editing/beta-testing.

Good luck with your game!

@Lanna: I'll try to put in the different outfits, then! Thank you for your support.

@bardsmanship: Yes, there's going to be yuri in it. I like yuri too. :3 I don't think the game will be done by mid-January, because it's gotten a lot longer than the 5-minute thing I originally planned it to be, so if I need another editor I will definitely let you know. And I'll probably need beta testers, too, so thanks for offering.

Unfortunately, there hasn't been that much going on with Looking For My Prince these past couple of days, as I've been severely writer's blocked and have been able to write perhaps an additional sentence. The good news is, we have a devblog now:
