I'll probably have more to say once I've finished the game(s).
Awesome, I'm glad you're enjoying. :) Let me know what you think at the end!

I have to admit, I'm surprised that no more people have responded with feedback. ^^;

This hasn't been one of the stronger points of LSF in my experience, either.

:oops: I'm one of those people who don't give feedback regularly, because I forget to after I play. Sorry.

I did not beat the game or play for that long. Reason being: for some reason when I re-entered the game my save file was not there, it was mind boggling and frustrating to me. Also sometimes the game would just stop working on me and since I was already sleepy, it only irritated the hell out of me.
From what I played so far, I got to say I loved the time you put with the opening scene, it was beautiful and I enjoyed it. I found the bad guys interesting in the intro and found myself wanting to play there side more than anything, unfortunately it was not so. :( lol.

I got as far as getting to this beach place, (I can't remember the name, I'm terrible with names) after getting chased by the Virad for the first time. After that the game shut down on me again and I just quit. Game over. :?

I liked the writing style for the bad guys, but sometimes when I was playing Auria, it got it bit dull to me. I guess it's cause the bad guys were so well portrayed and quirky, while Auria was just there and seemed like the most bored character in the game, though I think was really because of the look on her face(but then again I didn't finish the game so what do I know. She could have had a complete 180 personality change that I didn't get to see. Everyone has a reason for being the way they were, I just didn't completely figure out her's yet).

Seri seemed very nice and sensitive towards Auria feelings, and Zaqris was almost the complete opposite, though that made him interesting and I was curious as to why he behaved and talked the way he did.

Overall, I liked my play through and all I could get before I just stopped playing. I wish the characters expression changed, I really do. I guess that's why I found Auria so dull, her expression looked like she was bored as hell even though her dialogue portrayed something entirely different. I was confusing to say the least :? . Her background story was interesting to me, but I didn't get far enough to get to know her personally.

The other characters I didn't get to know that well, so I can't offer an overall complete opinion of them. Like I said before, Seri seemed nice and a good friend to have around, Zaqris seemed a little...self controlled perhaps? I was really waiting to see him do something that made him seem more human, like a touch of gentleness in him, or even anger. Anything that could help me get to know him a little better, but unfortunately I didn't get that far. :(

The Virad seemed awesome to me. :D They did what they wanted, killed who they wanted, offered no apologies and kept it moving. I guess I like hearing about the bad guys a lot more than the good, maybe because sometimes(and I'm not talking about you) the good guys are to good, almost like there to perfect and can't do anything wrong. Never having a negative or selfish thought. I can't stand that in my hero, sometimes I need them to be more human.

I would like to know why the Virad went bad, but that's something I can find out whenever I figure out how to get my game to 'save', I really don't get what the problem was. :(

Also, what the hell was that with the police officer dumping Auria over the bridge like that? That seems completely out of character for a police officer and totally uncalled for! Does Auria gets her revenge? If not, I'm going to pissed :evil:

:shock: Now I think I gave you to much feedback. Hope it helped in someway, if not sorry for wasting your time.

Ah! That's an issue I've never heard about before. Could you offer me some more information, such as your operating system? The save files should save to the game folder with a filename such as Save1.rxdata or another number. Did it save successfully before and then disappear or what? Also, did it give you any kind of error when it crashed?

You're right on a lot of points and luckily, you do get to see more of the characters' personalities--especially Auria's. Act I and especially Act II are about the evolution of her self-image and self-awareness and how that affects her as a person. You're already about 2/3 of the way through Act I, so I hope I can help you fix this. ^^;

(By the way, Auria is quite a spiteful person--she'll be damned if she's going to let that cop get away with what he did!)

Regarding the portraits, there wasn't really a lot I could do considering I wasn't the artist and the portrait artist was already nice enough to do the 12 or 13 portraits. Auria (and everyone else) did get a facelift in Act II, though: Image

I have windows vista and yes the game did save regularly before. Then when I went back to play it again, and the file wasn't there. It gave no error report. I would play it again to try to find it, but I don't have it on this computer anymore and my slow internet connection would take hours to download it for a second time. I'll just wait until we have stable internet connection.

:shock: Really? Sucks that I couldn't finish it before it crashed on me again :(

She looks nice. Think I'll give it a try whenever I get some stable internet connection, :? because right now it would take forever
