Hrm, that seems pretty easy to do (the menu layout you are suggesting). The imagemap for the main menu as stated is really easy to do.

Ooh, do you have samples of your music? I'd really appreciate having an actual composer rather than a random music generator. ^^; I guess I'll also have a group of people who can help me with the plot, as I already have a LJ set up for developmental purposes. I'll send it out later when I have things more organized. ^^
As for localization, we're good; my IRL friends told me they'd help. (Hopefully my own writing skills have not deteriorated over time as well.) ^^
