[Yuri/VN] Project Lily

#1 Post by Xent » Sat Jul 31, 2010 3:51 pm

Since the old thread is outdated, I m going to open a new one.

There has been quiet some progress on the VN Project.
I appriciate it if you would visit the website and am looking forward to read your encouraging feedback!

Your work is beautiful, good enough to go commercial. I would love to see some in-game screenshots and see how the user interface looks.

Your book on your website is a bit over sensitive though. I know when you move the mouse the pages turn. However, when I click on a character to see their page it flips a few pages even if I'm not touching the mouse. You may want to fix that.

Oooo, the book is cool. I like it. The characters look very nice and polished.
I'm a bit worried about their boobs (shape and size) but that isn't something new with VNs
Otherwise good work, it looks really good and the website is quite professional!

Is it the hentai project you mentioned? Because if it is, you better make sure it does well on DLsite. Any mainstream outlet and if anyone similar to Agnes Chan sees it...
...you're screwed.

The irony is that I think there's more risk with this project because the art is polished enough so that 1.) more people will look at it 2.) more people will be able to identify the characters as high school girls. All the other EVN hentai I know feature either older women or original Higurashi-grade character art (i.e. "can't fap to this")

I would also suggest replacing the heavy-loading Flash with a simpler and cleaner webpage using the same layout. Make the character pages using simple frames instead. We don't need the sakura blossoms effect, really.

Good luck with this project and may you plan things wisely.

Yes, I understood what you meant, which was why I asked the project creator if it was indeed commercial.
