Something little about the main menu:
Like papillon said it's a bit hard to read. The logo gets lost too much in the background, probably because all of the effects on it. If you clean the area around it and leave less details, maybe change the contrast of the colours- it would look better in my opinion. ^^

While I like the second one as a menu, I really like the character art in the first one.

Yeah, I agree 100%! xD Maybe the image could be used in the beginning as a kind of intro image or while the game's loading? :3

Hm... that is possible, but then I dunno how to do it
I was thinking of making A Dark Cut as the title screen music.
(made by MaestroRage too, like the one who made "Tell Me Once Again" for Independent XD)

Plus during the silent part before the loud bass/drumming-of-sorts in the beginning, I want the load screen on that part before the main menu shows up~

I just looked again at the old main menu and realized that Sharia's travel outfit looks way too garish, and too... fancy XD

I tried my best to make it look Greek-styled, since Sharia likes Greek mythology a lot.
And it looks like shorts, but she's wearing a skirt XD

I dunno, I think the only reason it might look like shorts is that you can see her legs through it in the concept sprite. I doubt it'll be that way when it's finished. This all makes me want to bribe you to do some art for my possible-future barely even scratched out VN. ^_^
