Indie Devs Release Visual Novel project on Kickstarter

Hello persons of Lemma-Soft,

I work for an indie dev company called "CWS Software". Some of my bosses have posted here before. We've been working hard on making some visual novels and games on our site www.datesim.org

We launched a project on a service called Kickstarter. They can be located at www.kickstarter.com

To: Whoever came from here and trolled our Kickstarter site, personally attacked one person, and made my intern upset.

That was very mean spirited of you. I'd say I expect better from this community. But I really, really don't. I apologize for not looking at our little marketing plan a little closer in the hectic last few days to realize that this site was on the marketing list. I'm askin' whoever has the power to just delete this thread. If it puts the collective mind at ease, we won't be back. I hope you're all super proud of yourselves.

First off, I want to make clear that neither I nor the other admins encourage forum members to troll other sites, much less engage in personal attacks. There is no place for those things. I don't know exactly what happened on your site, but if someone was acting inappropriately, that's frowned upon.

That said, any large community will have at least a few bad apples, or some apples that behave badly once in a while. I imagine if your project took off and grew a large community, the same would happen for you. Therefore, it is unfair to lump the whole community in as supporting that kind of behavior, and needlessly aggressive to come back here and post insults at the board.

I can only imagine one reason you received a negative visit from someone on this site may have something to do with your thread here: http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... f=4&t=7654 that completely derailed and where you behaved very unprofessionally.
