I feel like the storyline is a bit cliched....
would people still play it?

Well, yeah, it is a bit cliche, but even if it's just for the art, a lot of people will still play it. I'd play it. Honestly, cliche plotlines don't matter as much if the writing makes up for it. If you can give depth to your characters (including the MC - people usually forget that the main character needs a personality as well) then people will generally enjoy your game.

However, if you leave the characters shallow and living up totally to their stereotype, then people will generally label it 'forgettable'.

That said, I'm still looking forward to this

first of all, I would like to say that the characters look amazing. *-* My favorite (based on looks) is Jun, because his eyes are very enchanting, but based on personality (or the tiny description) is probably Kan, because I have a thing for anti-social guys.

I would still play it if the storyline is a bit clichéd, but that really matters on how well the characters and the writing is. If it's really shallow characters with clichés, then I probably would play it though I wouldn't enjoy it that much and I'll probably forget about it. But if it has characters with real personalities (as opposed to personalities so overused they could be mass-produced) with some storyline clichés, I would still play it and most likely enjoy it. By looking at the character descriptions, I don't think you're in danger of having really shallow characters. For me, that's due to the lady-killer who doesn't like hurting girls and the anti-social guy who actually has at least one friend- it shows other sides to their personalities.

sooo as of now i have most of my script & programming done, story fully done, but I don't have cg's anymore...

Just make your game. Snatching sprites off of BASS is also questionable, but no one is boycotting you. =P

hi, I'm using Windows Vista and I'm trying to open the game but WinRAR always gives errors. Does anyone else have a similar problem or is it just my computer? Hope someone can help..

I accidentally found out your game; and i'm downloading it right now. I really want to try it ^_^
Besides, by reading the differents posts on this forum, I learnt I could create a VN myself... actually, I never thought about it, but now, I really want to give it a shot =)
