For some strange reason, I thought the same the rest time I read the bios. Then I read it again and realized I was thinking that Hoshi was the MC's name and confusing "founder" for "father." It's probably because it's a common trope that the older character in science fiction is always the MC's father, thanks to a generation grown on "NO, I AM YOUR FATHER..."

Matt here with an important update! Now that I have found a good music hosting site, I can now post direct links to tracks from the VN! First up, we have...

One Day at a Time (Instrumental)

…an off-vocal version of Dream of Stars' OP song. Ari has written lyrics for it and tells me that he's trying to get a friend of his to sing them, but no news on that front as of yet.

This track, and all the ones I shall be posting, were made using Finale Allegro, which, despite being a decent piece of music software, could be better overall, and while the interface is simple enough to use, the sound quality isn’t as good as other music software out there. I encourage you all to buy a copy of Dream of Stars for yourself, as well as a copy for any of your friends who are interested, so that Ari will have money for art school, and so that I will be able to upgrade my music software to something like Sibelius (ideally).

Minimoto: I think so, and that's partly thanks to you. I know you get surprised when Pillow and I say you're the biggest otaku we've met in person, but you really have quite a lot of knowledge. I have no doubt that if a heroine's path is weakening, you'll be the one to notice in beta testing!

Uncertain Past, Unshaken Future

...the theme of the adorable Fumiko!

I chose Fumiko's theme as the first character theme to be uploaded mainly because I absolutely love Fumiko. She's my number one favorite of all the girls, and her path will definitely be the first one I play through, and she's all mine, and none of you can have her >.<

Anyway, without spoiling too much, the element of Fumiko's personality and background I wanted to capture most in her theme was the fact that she's basically been forced to make weapons and the like for Hoshi since she was a small child, and how she dislikes this part of herself. I wanted to capture that sense of longing in her, that desire to be able to freely do something else with her talents.

Look for more songs from the VN in the future!

Also Fumiko's tiny eyebrows are ridiculously adorable and cute and adorable.

It'll be interesting to see where you're going with Hoshi - as it seems willing to use children against their will, it's probably not a purely good organization. Is this going to be explored in the common path, or just Fumiko's?

The music tracks seem a bit short to me, which may become obvious once looped for a while.

Oh, they aren't using the girls against their will. I can't spoil too much, but Fumiko has essentially been affiliated with Hoshi since birth. Hoshi isn't evil by any stretch of the imagination. I mean, Hiroaki is the one in charge of Hoshi, and his motives are far from being anything close to "evil."
