Title is subject to change. I've changed a lot of this post, and I will add character profiles in a new post after I finish writing this up.

You are a young girl who works at a cafe in a peaceful, medieval-esque village. Though today starts like every other day, it shall not end like any other day. In this NaNoRenO game, your romantic interests are an alien military commander and your childhood friend, Hugh. Will you hunt the hunter, or will you tame the beast?

Lint as of right now:

The game contains 581 screens of dialogue.
These screens contain a total of 4,967 words,
for an average of 8.5 words per screen.
The game contains 16 menus.

I'll edit this part of the post every day with my current stats.

Story/Script: Prologue near completion, started on both paths. 1 path is near done, with 3-4 endings done.
Sprites: Done with Hugh, Mr. McGrumpypants, and a character I can't name for sake of ruining dramatic effect in game : D. I just remembered I still have a bunch of sprites to do D:
BGs: 20ish down, hopefully done! Blargh.
CGs: 2 done, need at least 2 more.
Music: Getting music as I go, using free stuff.

I would love to get some beta testers/proofreaders/general feedback givers; it would be best if you have MSN so I can very quickly get in contact with you and change things you think should be changed and all that. I normally wouldn't care how you got in contact with me, but time is of the essence since it's a NaNoRenO project D:

I'm adding a few easter eggs, though one of the easter eggs you all will most likely not know is an easter egg.

I'm making one of my rp characters, Sylipha the gorgon, the secretary you can talk to if you talk to the scientist enough. So the talk with her does nothing except make my online friends go OMIGOSH SYLIPHA USED TO BE NICE????!!!????!!?!!?! e-O (She's renowned in the roleplay group as the bitchy, man-hating librarian :B)
Mostly because I'm so nice in real life that it can be fun and very different to roleplay as a bitch xD
My main rp character is an adorkable math nerd satyr, I want to try and work him as an easter egg somehow :B

Started another sprite. She's based off of a leopard gecko, which is also why she's so tiny/young looking. The other species I'm basing two other characters off of are at least 2 ft in length, and leopard geckos only get to be about 10 inches. They're tiny!

Life in the military has made him cold on the outside, but keep talking to him (and don't piss him off) and he'll eventually warm up to you. My nickname for him is Mr. McGrumpypants c:

Hugh's overall a very easy-going guy, even though most of his friends tease him about already having a wife picked out. Fun fact: he's based loosely on Gaston from Disney's Beauty and the Beast, though minus the douchebag aspect xD Hugh's not very bright, but he's a sweetheart.

Wow, this looks so much better than my NaNo project so far. >.<
Really, it's clear that you've put a lot of work into this. Keep it up!

I think we could make it work, depending on how quick you can reply back to me. I'm a slow writer but a fast typer, if that makes sense. I dislike writing, but I have an above average typing speed, so when I get in the mood to work on my script I can get probably 1000 words (the most I can do in one sitting because of my short attention span; I'm often referred to as a goldfish brain by my friends), in addition to fixing parts of the script I already had. That means that the script I give you one day may look nothing like the script I'm working on the next day xD;

I forgot to update this D:
I stopped working on this about a week before NaNoRenO was over because I completely hated how the story came out by that point. I pretty much had one romance path almost done and was about halfway done with the other path, so needless to say I felt more than little overwhelmed that in order for me to be happy with the game I would have to completely rewrite the story.

I will pick up this game on a later date, though it will drastically change from how I originally envisioned it.
