This idea was originated from last years' NaNoRenO which I couldn't finish in time.
I think I should release it before MOGF because....
Before Requiem is a collection of seven tales seen from different perspectives about what really happened before Requiem of The Abyss started. It's a kinetic novel, means that there won't be choices so you just sit back and read the tale. As you finished reading one tale, you will unlock the others. The tales are not in the correct order, so if you want to understand fully you may try it in different orders.
Oh, and you don't need to play the previous Fantasia games to understand, just playing will add your knowledge that's all.
The tales are as follows:
- Oswald's tale "The Tale of Redemption"
He's a father. Even though he was a dictator, a demon lord, a person who was wronged.
Now he's just a father.
To him, his family means everything. When war starts, he has to protect the one he loves. Even if he had to defy his kingdom, and made the wrong turn again...
- Cain's tale "The Tale of Love"
He never knew what having friends and family feels like. All he knew was the darkness of the realm.
When a little girl and a woman he called "mother" return to his life, Cain learned that love is something beautiful yet destructive...
- Leon's tale "The Tale of Conspiracy"
He was the general with the heart of stone.
"This is war. He cannot make mistakes."
But when the general must chose between his family, his best ally and his kingdom... He decided to save everything.
Even when he had to make pact with the devil.
- Sirius' tale "The Tale of Vengeance"
He was an avenger, but he was also a mere mortal who could fall in love.
When an avenger fell in love and kept his way in the destruction path, he had to choose to frogive or not.
But he chose not to.
- Volg's tale "The Tale of a False Hero"
He was a war weapon, and he was also a kid.
He believed what he is doing is right, and that he could stop the war with his powers.
But when his father died in battle, he started to doubt himself...
- Nazim's tale "The Tale of the Desert Prince"
As the prince, Nazim had to protect his sisters and his country. He believed that women had to be protected.
But when he failed to do so, Nazim went to the depth of fear of women.
- Klavios' tale "The Tale of a Gentleman"
He didn't mean to act like a player, he just wanted to protect girls since his own mother died in front of him.
He wanted all of them to be saved.
However, his actions caused the girl who loved him to die cruelly...
- Raven's tale "The Tale of Revolution"
He had a responsibility. His father wanted him to follow his footsteps.
Raven was a good kid, and he always obeyed what daddy said.
However, he didn't know that a weird friendship would turn his point of view...
-Ian's tale "The Tale of Duty"
Ian was responsible of bringing the whole village into a curse, and he had to pay for that.
But when he thought he had enough, someone came to him and asked for a personal payment...
"Turn back the time before the curse starts!"
- Thanos' tale "The Tale of Nothingness"
He was nothing.
How did he become a thing?
By being something.

Well, some things you will see will be great hints for MOGF XD
I plan to reveal some things here, such as Thanos' villain attitude, and the merchant's identity. Also, you will get to see who finally married Ian XD Oh, and Volg's daddy.
Oh, and this game will not have sprites, it will be consisted of CGS only, so someone please lend me a hand in coloring (basic only, no need to shade)

Characters:
Thanos -- The main antagonist, or maybe... a friend. For some people, at least.
Sirius Vermillion -- A young man who wanted to be the strongest mage of all.
Seraphina -- A mysterious young girl who met Sirius as a child
Aeron -- A mysterious young boy who met Ian near the lake. Has a short "lifespan"
Oswald Leingold and Valen leingold --Oswald is the ex-demon lord who decided to settle down and have a happy family, Valen. They were happy, at least until Thanos decided to ruin it.
Nydia Calantha -- Nydia is one of people who lived in the frozen village, when the curse started she wasn't frozen along with others. She wanted revenge for what has happened to her family...
