Aka's (mostly) unfinished work

#1 Post by Aka-kami »

Hello random passers by, I shall commence posting my random pieces that I start when I'm really bored.

Btw finished stuff will be very very rare >A>

so here's 2 recent ones:
akiaki.jpg
This one's been on my desktop for weeks but I'm too lazy to finish it 'cause the canvas's size is 3000X3000 and sizing it down to edit makes it look weird and and and---

//sigh
mmmm.jpg
I started this like yesterday. Perspective's kinda off to me but I can't really tell where I should fix it. Maybe it's because the whole theme changed from sleeping under a tree to sleeping on an office chair. Hmmm. Maybe I'll switch it back to sleeping under a tree.

His left hand looks like that as I'm yet to draw a book being held by it.

Critique and comments are welcome.

Ahem- ignore me~. XD

But I really like your style! >w<
I don't know- I have a liking to that sort of drawing style. Maybe because it's so different from mine? -hah- I find it very sweet~ <3

I may be the only one thinking this, but the more I stare at the second picture, the skinnier and lankier his arms get.

I think what's happening is that you drew the upper part of your arms longer than the part below the elbow. When you just take a look at your arm, you would notice that that's not the case for us.

& the location of the shirt's armpit area also looks incorrect to me.

Tbh I gave up on the drawing all together. I lost interest in it, which is the case of most of my stuff. (pretty much why you'll hardly ever see anything completed from me)

But anyway, thanks for the advice. I do need to fix up on my anatomy. >A>;;

Though, about the armpit, I think it's due to how I drew his clothes.
