Platonicheart's art
I drew this one as a character for an upcoming bxg of mine. I really don't know if it looks good or it looks very bad. Feedbacks of any kind is highly appreciated. I just want to hear anyone's view or comment about my work, whether good or bad. I'm just a noob in drawing right now so please bear with me
Also, if anyone would be interested to color my artworks, please leave a message here or pm me since I'm really bad at coloring when it comes to using the computer.Currently working on Learning to Love

Re: Platonicheart's art
Well here is some critique from me then:
The figure looks very static. And the pose is a bit weird, because her head and torso are facing us,while the legs are turned the other way without any actual movement.
There are also some anatomy problems. The body looks a bit...squished?! Don't know how to say it, but it's like- her shoulders are wide, but then she has a tiny body, and not fitting legs+ suddenly mini-feet. Try making the figure taller and look for references to keep the proportions right. Aw, and her arm is short too.
It's nice you've tried adding some nice details and folds thought A very good thing actually!
I hope this helps you a little~

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind. I'm really sorry if I'm such a noob, I'll try fixing it.

Hah- there is no problem in being a noob! This is the first step- you can't skip it. So it's something normal. ^^platonicheart wrote:Thanks, I'll bear that in mind. I'm really sorry if I'm such a noob, I'll try fixing it.

Re: Platonicheart's art
Critique? Hmm... the shoulders remind me of the two-headed person in the PV of Dark Woods Circus... it's so freaking wide *o*
The legs were goin' smaller the more it goes down, and the feet were facing all to the right. It's like she broke both her ankles xD
The wrinkles, well, I HAVE to forgive you to it too, because I also suck at them xD But just a tip : make sure on the sleeves, the lines are going on the same direction...
Maybe seeing this will give you a little idea on what the hell am I blabbering about.

^
The colored version looks nice. Perhaps you could add more shadows to make her looks more... err.. 3-Dimensional.
Now I am tempted to color her too >_<
May I ?

Those are just the flats, btw :B We were experimenting with colors before I started shading.

Re: Platonicheart's art
Wow it's really cute O_O
Love the subtle shading!
Love the ruffled choker!
Love the clothing design! XD
Some advice: Her arms could be longer, since in real life, they go beyond the hip.

Re: Platonicheart's art
Hmm, I feel like the arms are too slim, compared to the rest of her body. Also, her upper torso looks awkward. As weird as it sounds, I think she would benefit from more defined armpits.
