Good site for people who want BGs or Sprites (CREDIT ARTIST)

Although some may think it's best for you to name the original site, it's kind of hard to do that when a first time visiter will have no idea where they're from.

Although some may think it's best for you to name the original site, it's kind of hard to do that when a first time visiter will have no idea where they're from.

In general, if you have no idea where they're from, you should not use them.

I have seen MANY 'clip art' and 'free art' sites using blatantly stolen commercial graphics (like, scans of book covers and stuff) and claiming that they're free, which leads to people who go to those sites downloading them and saying "But it said it was free!" And the site will just shrug and say "Well, the people whose art we stole should have notified us to take it down!"

It's really not a big deal for free games, but it's not a good habit to get into.

...I don't think its particularly true... some Bgs came from tasogarei and maospace... are they telling us that those sites were from BASS? I dunno but as long as I'm aware, I'd better credit the real sites(which sadly they didn't include) than crediting them personally. While those BGs are indeed free, I'm also pretty sure the creators included in their site to: "Credit the site if you're going to use it".

Really? I use safari, so when I click on the image to see all the poses, I right click and press "Save image downloads" which works formme xD

my navigator is regular internet explorer. if it works for firefox, i'll guess i'll download that. thx for the help

With respect to crediting an artist, running a reverse image search is probably something worth doing if there's no artist cited.
