Oh wow, these are really nice! I particularly like the second one, haha. Their fingers seem a little blobby, though, so work on hand anatomy, maybe? But their faces and hair are really nice.

Yeah I can never get the bloody hands or feet right, so I usually cover them up with something :lol:

That second one wouldn't perhaps be a copied study from this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanasaku_Iroha anime, would it? I tried to find the matching screenshot but it's probably inside one of the episodes.

It's fine to do copied studies, but don't claim them as your original drawings. If you really want to improve your art, though, don't blatantly copy other people's finished art. You have to learn the meat and potatoes of drawing before you can even think of achieving that level of quality in your original drawings.
