I'll bite. Here's mine. It's not my oldest work, but of the same year (I couldn't find the REALLY old ones, and I remember being really proud of this one) and the last image I put a fair bit of effort into. I have pretty much only been doing VN work this year so ho hum.

Well, I don't keep my 'really' old work. It's all on paper and I put it in the trash whenever I get the chance.
This one I made about... 3 years ago? 3 and a half I think. A comic I made and saved on my laptop. Don't mind the language. ^_^

Yes, you heard our wish. It's actually really inspiring to see how the amazing artist was once on my level too. And seriously Auro, you're one of them. It's really amazing how much you can improve after those many years.

I was searching for my really older sketches, but I guess it's already in my storage and this is all I can find for now.

Haha, this is one of the drawing that I did with gel pen, I never found that pen that was made for inking and drawing. The story was great, yes I've ended it, in my head. I never finished the comic due to lack of confidence and I thought my art skills wasn't that good. Yet I wished I could show it to the world, so I turned it into a story in form of literature.

The same story as above, but my art skills improved a little. However it was never complete because I like how it was. My confidence towards my own arts is really low. Maybe one day I'll do a remake of this comic because I really cherish it.

@Hanamori. Awww, thanks ^_^ Yes, we all start somewhere. I am glad I improved and looking at my old work makes me wince. Though I remember being so happy with myself, so I guess it is rather relative.

I found one of my older ones from earlier 2004... it's really bad XD

Ooooooo... As many people might have heard, I retired from art. However, when I first started, it turned out something like this... Both of these were quick pencil sketches, so I ended up turning the contrast up so they are a little better to see.

Now you all can experience first hand why I don't do art anymore. There has been improvement, but not to an acceptable level. I devote too much energy to the other aspects of VN making to keep trying. (For the record, there is a four year difference between the two.) Of course, I drew them both in 5 minutes, so that may have something to do with it.

Edit: Random thought to myself, this debunks my internal argument that old Yoi had short hair. Completely forgot the original one had long hair as well.

I actually raided the dusty drawers and here's what I've found. Not sure on the exact dates though.

YMMV on the styles I've done though. I'm notorious for shifting to a lot of styles even now.

I wish I could find you my really terrible stuff from like 2002, but I made the mistake of purging my old DevArt to obliterate that stuff forever. So instead you get my competent-ish stuff from early 2008 onwards.

In conclusion, I've gotten a little worse since 2009/I don't have the tablet/scanner access I did in 2009 and my art reflects this. On the plus side, I've gotten enough pen proficiency that when I get a scanner again, things should be fairly baller.

Uhh, this is the oldest work I can find....

It was done when I was in... err... Grade six. 2009. I know there's older crap at the deepest delves in my drawer. But then, I know they look so painful in the eyes, so I'll save you from the sight.
Why did I think that this drawing looks so pretty before? After two years of not seeing it, I'm like "FUUUU I REALLY DREW THIS?"

but i've improved so slowly over the years since i dont draw that much T^T
the oldest pic i have in my gallery i actually like more than some of my now pics (sure she's long and gangly but i still do that sometimes O_o

And about the art theft thing, you should report the deviation! >< Perhaps the admins can forcefully take it down.

I wouldn't call mine an improvement, lol... It's drastic enough to be an evolution >< I've been drawing semi-seriously for eight years but my stuff only became *cough* presentable *cough* in 2010.
The one on the left is from early 2010 while the one on the right was done some time this month. Anything I drew before 2010... doesn't exist. Because I killed all of it. With fire.
