So... yeah, I didn't exactly draw it...but I need help on how I should improve my shading skills. (Be aware that I have a mouse...so I can't do certain strokes...) If possible, teach me how to improve the shading~!

Thank you ^^ (This was vectored by me...and drawn by someone else I don't know their name...Dx )

I don't think you have any problems with your technique of shading, however your colour palette seems to be a bit too grey, especially with the skin. Perhaps you could try more earth and red tones for that instead?
You could also try for some highlights in her hair as well.

Other than that, good job~ UvU

I think it looks like it has been smoothed too much for the clothes. The hair's colors should flow more smoothly though. *runs off to finish my own stuff*

I agree with the lil stuff the others have said till now. And yes- this about the hair. It should be exactly the opposite of how you've made it. The hair should be smoother and look softer while maybe you need a lil more solid shadows at some places on the clothes. *refers to her white shirt- the rest is fine from that point of view.

This one I've got from Tag-. I think it could help you somehow, in understanding hair 'structure'

You are bigger than what you think but smaller than you can imagine.

Sorry my bad English
1) Highlights must be only on the shiny places. I mean, if the jacket is not made of leather, then it shouldn't be hightlights. Hair MUST have hightlights. 'cuz they're SHINY. At least they're shinier than a jacket
Image

2) Well, if you anyway wanna put hightlights on the clothes, then at least use coloured ones
Image

3) I mean, if you don't know what are you doing don't use black & white(grey) colours for shadows & hightlights.
