Available Voices (LSF Voice Bank)

#1 Post by Morhighan »

Hey all~

I just figured out that the mic buried in the "garage sale" box is actually better than the mic I'm used to using, so I stole it and started making recording. I love changing my voice, so I made a few rough demos for your pain/pleasure. If you have a project that needs voicing, I'm available.

Here's my samples:

Sweet Little Girl
My Normal Voice
Masculine/Deeper voice

I can also attempt to immitate specific styles/accents/whatever of speaking.

For instance:
Quick, hide the children

And singing:
Learn to be Lonely

Now, I don't want to waste an entire thread on myself, so I figured I'd open this up to everybody to make a sort-of Lemma Soft Forums "Voice Bank" for VN creators to pick and choose from.

...And go!

Thank you.
Yeah, I actually recorded with a bad head cold, so the masculine voice is painful. :D
If you need a voice actress nonetheless, I'm available.

Morhi, your sweet voice is very lovely. I like how natural it sounds over the 30+ women who try to sound like little girls. >.>;;

Mugen, your links are telling me I need to log in to dropbox. Try box.net?

@Morighan

I liked the normal and high voices the most. The low was good but it didn't sell me as being much different. Can we hear you doing some acting parts more so than line reading?

@mugen

None of those links work... :-/

Oh my god Mugen, Your samples are really good. and that ??? made me laugh so bad. XD

on topic: I'm terrible with voicing. but heres a few if people really want it. o3o ignore the static, these were recorded with my bad mic as my good mic takes ages to set up. XD

normal: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2216024/hello.wav

sterotype valley girl: (don't listen if you can't stand the word 'like'! XD) http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2216024/omgilikeyourshoes.wav

I would do of me singing, but it's shit. XD

Morhighan, first two where great, third was ok, and I understand why, with the head cold. Personally, I liked your normal voice most of all, with the first coming in at a close second. Heh, if I ever get over the slump I'm having in my current storyline and do manage to get another full time job... I may see what I can do about getting a bit of VA from you.

Thank you all for the submissions and compliments! Mugen, you just about killed me with laughter.

@Kadius Dar--Thank you. If you ever need help with writing you can talk to me. And I wouldn't need to be paid. I'd be glad to help out.

@All Good luck on your projects! Thanks for the voices~

Yay, more voices. : D I'm such a voiceover junkie. >.>;;

Mel, your voice has a lovely feminine tone that isn't grating at all. Even the valley girl voice didn't annoy me. XD

Pyon, you have great energy in your voices. You sound more suited for tomboy types, but the last two lines make you sound like the young, chipper heroine.

pkt, yay! A dude! Do you have any samples of you normally talking? I like the first clip the most, and I think that's the closest to your normal voice.

--

I have a group that does voices on commission, but if anyone needs/wants singing (for an OP, ED, insert, or whatever), I'd be willing to do it for free. I'm not brilliant at it, but I want practice, and I still like contributing to EVNs when I can:

Unedited/unfiltered singing: http://www.topleka.net/random/ayu_singing_raw.mp3
Filtered and auto-tuned: http://www.box.net/shared/qk0p77rdd2

Holy crap! Sake! Your singing voice is wonderful!! I thought the autotune was the original singer until about 30 seconds or so kicked in. Your raw singing clip. Oh my god. I may have a job for you when I get my intro song written up.(I'm getting choices, so I need a good female singer for the people who hate vocaloid.)

also thanks for the comment. I always listen back to myself and cringe. >_>
