I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I've discovered that playing music on channel two will prevent auto-forward from working until the song is done playing. It doesn't appear to be a problem with any other channel.

Channel 2 is an alias for the voice channel, so this is normal. Your best bet is to define your own (named) channels, rather than using the numeric aliases, which mostly exist for compatibility.
