Ren'Py 7 Roadmap?

Forgive me if this question has been asked a lot, but is there some kind of roadmap for Ren'Py 7? I'd like to try to anticipate coming changes in light of a project I'm toying with.

Thanks for any insight you can lend.

There probably won't be a Ren'Py 7, in the way I originally planned it. Most of the features I had planned are in Ren'Py.

Instead, expect a series of time-based releases - right now, I'm aiming for one in december/january - that add features and slowly change Ren'Py in compatible ways. The big focus of Ren'Py 6.15 "Foreign Policy" will be a new translation framework, but there will likely be other improvements as well.

Ah, thank you. I'm thrilled that you continue to develop Ren'Py's capabilities. Are you disappointed that you won't be designing Ren'Py 7 as a separate beast?

To be honest, everything that I had planned for Ren'Py 7 - feature wise - is already there. (GL, ATL, and SL). The launcher has been rewritten - twice. The docs aren't there, and neither is the tutorial game - and since I want to keep working on Ren'Py, I focus on the technical stuff that interests me, rather than the chores.

The docs now are quite good, much better than a few years ago for example :)
Was wondering if you planned to do a "downloader" for Android to bypass the (crazy) 50mb limit? some users asked about it just today in my forums
