[OK] Confuse with current.json in jedit zip and Ren'Py sdk

As subject, hope I'm posting at the right place.

I extract Ren'Py sdk first, and then extract all contents of jedit I downloaded to its root.

I believe my extract steps are in the correct order, right? They both have this current.json file, which I'm very confuse about: Ren'Py's newer and larger in size compare w/ jedit's.

SO, should I replace Ren'Py sdk's current.json file with the one in the jedit zip file when I extract jedit to its root???

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I'm referring to v6.15.5, btw, tq.

The contents of the text editor is in a folder named "jedit". Just drop that folder into the renpy-6.15.5-sdk folder, and it should work.

The only current.json I see near root is it in the folder named "update". If removed, then the launcher's update button disappears. I'm not sure how/where you're getting additional current.json's.

As I said, both got this file.

Extract sdk, "update" folder appears which contains current.json.

I then extract jedit zip file, inside got two folders: "jedit" and "update" which contains current.json too.

Ah, sorry I didn't check the jedit zip. I saw it, then I extracted just jedit into a clean renpy sdk.

I took a look at my previous sdk where I downloaded jedit directly from the launcher's "Select Editor" screen, and I noticed that its current.json is actually those two combined into one.

As long as you have jedit and you don't touch current.json, Ren'Py doesn't care.

Noted that there's no need to replace the current.json file in the sdk with jedit zip's, thank you.
