I plan on allowing a dev-signed .nsp file to be built at a later time which can be sent to Nintendo.Imperf3kt wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 5:44 pmIf I understand correctly, this requires a homebrew be installed on the switch?ever17 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 4:43 am Renpy games can be played https://github.com/uyjulian/renpy-switch/releases

I'm still hoping to try it out. It's just a matter of getting my hands on the hardware.
Some friends have the hardware, but aren't willing to install homebrew on their switch.
I eagerly await your progress updates

Re: Will Ren'Py VNs Become Compatible with Nintendo Switch?
Ratalaika Games are porting my Ren'Py VN (One Night Stand) to Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One. I've tested the final build and it's just been sent off for certification Happy to tell others about the process. It's good to use a porting/ publishing partner as they know what's required, potential issues (licensing on fonts or displaying the controls, for example), deal with age ratings, test, localise etc. They are interested in more Ren'Py ports, too!
