Android .apks broken in 7.1.3

#1 Post by jerdieh »

Before updating, everything worked just fine. Now, and after implementing the 64-bit Java Development Kit, apks are corrupt/untrusted (see attached snapshot). Is there a fix for this? I'm guessing it has something to do with signatures.

FWIW I made a working APK with 7.1.3.
You may check what 'logcat' is saying.

I find that if you updated from an earlier version of Ren’Py, the issue I received was due to Google Play license verification (where the app is checked by the app store to see if it was verified as legitimately acquired/not pirated). The easiest way to get past this issue for private testing was to uninstall the old version of the VN’s apk build and do a fresh install using the updated apk file built using the new Ren’Py version (the current 7.1.3). Hope this helps.
