Well normally when you're writing out the dialogue, you'd just put them in as you go. you could ctrl+f and type in character names in the script and "replace all"
like replace d with d " and do the same for after periods but making sure you just do the ones that are at then end of the line. other than that you might just have to go and place them in manually

This script could do it automatically, just replace line editing part. Find first space in line, insert quote after it, then add quote to end of line. Line with character tags, like "bob happy Hi, i'm Bob!" are impossible to process automatically, you will need to manually find these and edit them accordingly, moving first quote at right position.
