"It Goes to Eleven" and current DSE compatibility?

#1 Post by StraightUpProject »

Seeing as how version 6.11.0 is a major update from the previous one, I was curious as to how it will affect the current DSE framework? Will the framework code have to be revamped/updated, or can it still be integrated well into the new version?

I haven't made a VN yet but I was playing around with Ren'Py's code as of late, and ultimately I've decided that my first game will be a dating sim of sorts. That said, I want to practice a bit for now with 6.10.2 but eventually get serious with the project by the time 6.11.0 is released, but I wasn't sure how this will affect my work in progress if the current DSE framework is incompatible.

NOTE: Apologies is this has been asked before.

It shouldn't affect the DSE.
