I've started my in-house testing, but that revealed a visual glitch with dissolves on Android. It might take me a few days to resolve that, so I'm not going to promise any release date.

(Sorry if this doesn't make sense, for I don't know much about programming and stuff).

If I remember correctly, Image Dissolve doesn't work on Android. So, could Renpy 6.12 (or other future versions) be programmed to automatically replace (or auto-read) the command as another compatible transition (common dissolve for instance) if it's working on an Android device???

I guess, it could be easily done by placing something like

init python:
    Dissolve = NoTransition
By the way, is 6.12 going to be released in days/weeks, or it could take about a month or more before public release?
I want to release something big, but I'm waiting http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... f=8&t=8911 to be fixed. Should I just use 6.10 or it won't take long to wait?

I have one major performance issue blocking 6.12, and then there's a few days of work to improve the documentation and tutorial game before I can start making pre-releases. So sooner, rather than later - but no guarantees.
