Ren'py performance gripes.

How well does Ren'py's framerate cap work? I mean, it's a bit silly when a modern quad-core registers 30-40% constant usage for Ren'py because of a looping alpha operation for a single 26px by 26px image.

On another note, are there any plans for how to return to 100% window size when resized, yet?

It depends on how you have your video card driver set up. We request vertical synchronization, and honor it when it's available - if you turn it off, we'll give you all the frames you can handle.

The obvious ideas didn't work. I'm looking into it, but not that actively.

I'm still getting a lot of CPU usage when vsync is on. Is alpha really that intensive?
