On another note, seeing as my art kind of fails and I'm not too comfortable with renpy yet, I don't think I can help much with the sprites and other stuff, but I'd be glad to be a consultant.

I totally agree with elenakiara. While they can get annoying, people feel comfortable with what the cliches they know and love. It helps when there's sparkly vampires in there too.
And Snow Blossom, thank you so much for offering but right now I'm all good. The little demo I have now is pretty pathetic (no sprites, a character name has been changed, there are spelling mistakes) so I don't want to scare off any more people with it.
But if you'll still be up to it, I will send you the next version I make.
