Capitulate
We're looking for a sprite artist to create 5-6 sprite sets for the game. Unfortunately we can't pay you, but you will be given credit and if at any point you need any help writing, editing or proofreading, we will happily oblige.
Background Story:
Susan has never been too enthusiastic about life. A romantic at heart, her love of fiction has turned her away from reality. She believes in nothing, and no one except her novels. In fact, her only goal in life is to write an epic masterpiece. In search of the resources to get her manuscript published, Susan accepts a job offer at The Passenger Pigeon, a small but well-known paper. What she finds there is exhilerating. The fast-paced life of mystery and intrigue is something she has only ever written about - faced with it in real life, Susan isn't certain what to do.
Player Experience:
You will play as Susan, a girl in her early twenties who has recently taken a job as an editor for a small paper. Control her as she completes day to day tasks, captures the hearts of her co-workers, investigates what may be the greatest story 'The Passenger Pigeon' has ever uncovered, and edits her epic novel 'Capitulate'

Emily Smith is the writer for the paper's 'Love and Lifestyle' section. Superficially, she seems to fit the role to a T. What with her big heart and strange love for puppies. Her soft smile and encouraging words are almost too good to be true...
Rick Nelson is the CEO of the paper. Namely, Susan's boss. A young man with a passion for painting who has been forced into the family bussiness. Longing for an out, Rick is much like Susan -he has forgotten how to live.
Sherrie Liu a Grade A Valedictorian, this high achieving girl is the business writer for the paper. Having finally found (well deserved) contentment with herself and her life, Sherrie is struggling with all her might to stay above the drama suddenly encircling her life.
Sai is an enigma. No one knows anything about him but everyday at exactly 2:45 he arrives outside of Rose's office, waiting for her to let him in. With gorgeous looks and rumors about his wealth, Sai is a touchy subject for every female worker at the paper -and some of the males. But strangely, none of them have ever heard him speak a single word.
Rose Mclachan seems larger than life. With a hot-headed temper, complete disregard for feelings and rules, and an acerbic wit, Rose would likely be completely unemployable if not for her near unbelievable genius. Armed with a photographic memory and persuasive nature Rose will get results, regardless of the damage she may leave in her wake. She is the paper's leading investigative journalist.
Jasper Kosic is loud, messy, and an open book. Running for mayor, Jasper is leaning heavily on the paper to back him up. And even though he has nothing to offer them, every one else is playing his game. He seems to rule the paper despite having nothing to offer either Nelson, or the Passenger Pigeon.
