Looking for a short story writer fantasy ***closed

Hi im looking for a short story fantasy theme (male protagonist) for my renpy project, here are the following I needed and will be paid $4.50 through paypal.


1] short fantasy story on renpy fantasy theme with a male protagonist
2] I need to have a complete scripts/dialouge included on it (it doesnt matter if its simple)
3] must have a finished plot one or two ending is good
4] a list of characters on the story including the mc, npc etc also try to include some images doesnt matter if its from anime shows.
5] a 30 mins game playable on renpy(optional but I prefer a complete finish script)

*ahem* Are you looking for anything more that 50-100 words? If so, you're going to want to consult for rates. I know most pros (or even the semi-pro folks) won't take less than seven to nine cents a word. For a Ren'Py game in which I'm making things up from start to finish and don't keep rights, I wouldn't take less than $0.15 a word. Half an hour in a multi-path VN, and you're looking at closer to 3000 words.

So let's break it down.

Original work, with only 'Fantasy' and 'Male protag' given. Minimum rate (since I'd be doing all the work), $0.15/wd. 3000 wd, $450.
Baseline code (script formatting with choices=programming instrcutions), $5/minute expected (2paths, 30 minutes each, figure they share a little bit, so 50 mins total), $250

We'll start with that.

That's assuming I get a credit in the end, and walk away. $700 minimum.

You at least give me a vague outline of what you want, and a couple of characters, I'll cut the word rate in half.

Either way, $4.50 will *not* cut it. May not look like it, but writing, and writing well is a lot of work.

You're better off offering nothing, honestly. Can you not try doing it yourself?

You can try by offering "free" price tag, unless you're going to make a commercial game (which if you are, then you also should offer "commercial" rate).

Lots of people are surprisingly willing to help you make games for free, if you're making a free game. Just ask. People gather in this forum for a reason

I don't understand. It sounds like you want someone to produce a small game for you, but you are not providing any assets, and you don't even have more than a vague idea of what you want it to be? That's not how production works

Hi sapphi yes it is indeed for a small game project, I forgot to mention about it. The story for my game could be ported with this renpy or other game engines that all about it, all I need is a story, scripts (see my list on the first post).

@luver: Hi luver I could have posted it and ask for free which is the obvious choice but sometimes I just got a little money I could give so thats all about it and thanks for the suggestion.

Pardon me... I was off by a factor of ten. Not 3,000 words but 30,000 words (100 or so wpm reading across multiple paths) Even if I was going to be nice and go to say $0.05/wd, we're still looking at nearly @$2k, or a lot more than is on offer.

Also: Did I hear correctly? You not only got a taker, but paid her Canadian? There's a nasty fee for changing small amounts from one currency to the next.
