I'm looking for a background artist for a commercial german Visual Novel.
The quality should be something like that: http://k-after.at.webry.info/ but 3D is also okay.
The resolution is 1024x576.
Since I don't have much money I can only pay 1 - 2 backgrounds a month, so it will last for a while...
I still don't know how many backgrounds I need but right now it's around 10.

What kind of genre is your game in? Could you please describe whether it is a fantasy/realism, medieval/modern/futuristic game and etc.. it's even better if you're able to summarize your visual novel's plot & setting so we know what kind of art style you're looking for (;

It's a all ages BxG game. It takes place in a fictive modern japannese town. The backgrounds are mostly townscences, indoors, school, forest, japanese shrine and so on.

Hello! I am not a background artist and until recently i was looking for one too. If you have a camera you can take pictures and use this program http://www.fotosketcher.com/ and they look alot like a painting/sketch/Ect.

i know that alot of people would still prefer a real background artist (so would I) but this is the next best thing
