Programmer needed! (was: Hello possible new friends!)
I'm going to make this as brief as possible: We are in need of a programmer for a dating sim we are working on!
Most of the details can be found in a set of google documents we have, which I will link below:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YrY ... edit?pli=1
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mGI ... edit?pli=1
We also have a tumblr filled with most of the sprites we have done so far, found below:
Rainblowjobs.tumblr.com
Many of our programming goals mght be lofty, and as of yet we are not planning on charging for the game.
However, we will be making expansions in the future that may cost money if we run into any expenses during the development cycle, including but not limited to recompensation for time spent.
TL:DR we might pay if you require it, depending on if the game takes off well enough to merit expansions.
Thank you for reading this. and I hope to be working with you soon!
I will be keeping tabs on this thread for questions and things of that nature, but if you are interested enough to join our team send a contact request to "archivemod" on skype and I will pop you into the dev chat for a meet and greet!

Thanks dude, this is my first post here so that is very much appreciated.

Hello there! I am new to this form, but not to coding with ren'py.
For some reason my skype isn't connecting but I would like to get in touch.
I work for free because I am an author, not a computer coder. However, I know what I am doing.
I would make a full scale project but I can not draw for *bleep*.
So anyhow, message me if you are interested

Since the poster preceding me has not yet posted anything, consider the position still open.
Again, contact me through this website or through my skype, Archivemod.

We have gotten in contact with our first programmer, we need some more if we are to get this thing rolling though!
Anyone here willing?
We might be able to do art for personal projects if anyone needs recompensation for their time! It will depend on what kind of game you will be making, but generally our team is diverse enough that it shouldn't be much of an issue!

I am afraid you simply are not what we are looking for. We do apologize, and wish you luck in your future endeavors.

Remember, the trade here is art for programming. We have a ton of artists on the team, and each one has their own unique style of drawing. We will have no qualms doing art for your own projects, all you will need to do is help us get ours going.
thank you in advance, and again, contact me on skype under the username "archivemod".

Since you've turned down at least one programmer, it might help to be a little more specific about what types of features you'd like to implement. I glanced at the docs but didn't see much information beyond the usual (affection points, unlockables).

Since I'm a crazy-lazy person, I have nothing better to do than to apply for this to be another Dating Sim.
Idea: use my Dating Sim Engine
Pros: get 90% of coding done in a single day
Cons:
- I still have no beta tester, errors may occur, you will have to look for a beta tester for your game.
- The Dating Sim Engine is based on "let the player go where and when he feels like", so this is not a visual novel with many branches but more like a free game. If that's not the idea, my engine would still cover the relation ships, but by now I'm not interested in this kind of thing.
To check out my gameplay, download the game you can find when you click on the image in my signature. From the thread you can also look for my idea and/or recruitment thread from earlier; in one of these I posted my experience.
I'm open for questions/requests, but – as written – the one thing I'm not interested in are visual novels with many branches instead of free interaction (with HP and the like). But of course the actions can be limited to days, relationship points or the like.

Up next: An original, open source, text-based Dating Sim. Stay tuned ;)
