[Newbie] Looking for a team to make a Visual Novel~

#1 Post by pandawantshugs »

Hello! I'm new here as you can tell~ I was thinking for a long time to make a visual novel with some people but...i didn't know where to go! Since i found this place it made it easier for me!

I'm looking for a team that can make a visual novel, of any sort they want to make! I need
Artist
Musicians
Writer
and etc...

I'm learning to be a coder right now so i might be able to do that depending on the situation...
i can also be a writer too but idk, I'm not really good in English XP

If your looking for joining pm me an example of your work! Depending on what you want to do ^^

It has happened recently, but I still think it's rare to see team spring up from nowhere, without a central game idea. I'm a writer myself, there's some old stuff in my DA gallery (http://desulishor.deviantart.com/art/So ... -334222706)

But to get anywhere, you might want to post a suggestion on the genre you want to work on, what games inspired you or anything like that.

I'd definitely recommend you think up a basic plot for your project before asking about recruiting. The group I'm in right now formed around the idea "we should make a VN!" instead of "we should make a VN about X". This resulted in us sitting around for around three months discussing plots, shooting down one after the other before we arrived at the plot we all agreed to work on. That's a lot of time spent not getting any real work done.
"We have cars that drive for us, services that shop for us, devices that speak for us, machines that clean and cook and work for us. You can't say that removing these things from our daily lives has no effect on the way we interact. As I speak, how many of you are working, or communicating with someone else? Could we do that twenty years ago? Ten? Society has changed very slowly throughout the course of human history, but in the span of only two generations, there have been more technology-driven societal advances than we can count."

"People everywhere are able to talk to others clear on the other side of the world, and we do this at the expense of interacting with others around us. We have our heads buried so deeply in our technology that we ignore our surroundings. Society is stretched far beyond what should be possible, thanks to technology. We have friends in other countries while we have strangers in our own homes."

Some of my visual novels are at http://www.the-new-lagoon.com. They are NSFW
Poorly done hand-drawn art is still poorly done art. Be a Poser (or better yet, use DAZ Studio 3D) - dare to be different.
