Ahhh, it's so nice to see an artist not undercharging her work! I love your style, it's really soft and crisp at the same time.

Aren't you working on WaxWing though? How's that project coming? It's looking amazing so far.

Your work is so wonderful! Even though your prices are fair, I must admit that you would most likely get more commissions if they where a bit more competitive until you got more well known in artist communities (but my art sucks, so what do I know  )

Just wanted to reiterate that I've had the pleasure of working with bunbun before, and she is both an amazing artist and great person to work with. I cannot recommend her more highly!

As tempting as that seems, I don't know if it's a good idea. People might become accustomed to the lower prices and will protest if you try to raise them later, unfortunately. Besides, it's really sad when talented artists are forced to take less than minimum wage. :(

On hold: AXIOM.01 (girl detective game)

It's better to have a few regular, well paying clients than many clients paying a little. It may take a while to build up a client base like that, but it's worth doing. If you charge $100 per CG (for example) and get commissioned for one a week, that's just as much money you'd get from four commissions a week at $25, but much less work. Many artists undervalue their work and think no one will pay more for it which just isn't true.

bunbun's work definitely looks worth the money to me.

Sorry! I didn't mean to sound rude! Her art is worth the price, I just saw that she was looking for projects so I thought I would offer a solution, but I'm stupid. Just focus on her wonderful art and commission her please! :D

@Hazel-Bun @crossove @Head_Phones: Thank you ^^ I got a few messages and hope to get into a project soon!

@tooaya : Thank you! I try to set the price I think my art is worth for but it's a little hard getting commissioners.
I love your art too!
Waxwing is doing fine so far, still writing but I had trouble with my work a month ago which distracted me from my projects.
I've left my work and is able to concentrate on waxwing now ^^ Thanks for your concern!

@Rinima : Thank you so much! Feel free to message me if you ever need a piece done!

@nerdy : Hello Nerdy, don't worry you're not stupid!
I thought of lowering my price too at first, but it will only encourage more artists to undercharge.
I know it looks expensive, but it shows how artist market has affected everyone.
Many artists don't know the market price as they aren't doing it professionally.
Although I think my art has way to go for improvement, I still have self worth and pride on my price.
Believe or not, commercial art cost around 500-3000$ just for a piece and 100$ is consider very cheap already.
I adjusted my price base on the economy of undercharge artist and try my best to make it affordable, commercial or personal use.
It might be hard for me to start off with this price but I hope to gain awareness to everyone, commissioners and artists that artist should charge more than a few cen or dollar on their work.

@Arowana : Hey aro~ It's rare to see you commenting
I agree with you. Despite it's painful and tough business, I don't want to put the market down and encourage artists to undercharge.

@Tempus : Yes, I thought so too. It may be hard to start out as I've yet to have regular customer and reputation but I'll work hard.
I think artists should value their work more and try not to be affected by the low price of other artists. Thank you so much for your comment!
