Wanted: People who want to learn Japanese [CLOSED]

Sorry for not being clear, I meant how long each lesson might be on a general level. Like how many Hiragana one could cover or something like that. I'm not sure how the lessons would work so I'm not sure how the content would be measured.

I was originally thinking 5 Hiragana per lesson. Not sure if that will be too much though.

5 sounds like a pretty small amount compared to the 70-something in total. But I have no idea how hard it is to learn these so maybe five would be too much. I guess you could start with 5 and decrease the amount if the testers find it to be too many.

The initial lessons will be broken into about 13 lessons:

Lesson 1: あ, い, う, え, お.
Lesson 2: か, き, く, け, こ.
Lesson 3: さ, し, す, せ, そ.
Lesson 4: た, ち, つ, て, と.
Lesson 5: な, に, ぬ, ね, の.
Lesson 6: は, ひ, ふ, へ, ほ.
Lesson 7: ま, み, む, め, も.
Lesson 8: や, ゆ, よ.
Lesson 9: ら, り, る, れ, ろ.
Lesson 10: わ, を, ん.
Lesson 11: Small よ, ゆ, つ.
Lesson 12: The small " that goes over some characters.
Lesson 13: The small circle that goes over Japanese characters.

Believe it or not, that adds up to more than 70 characters. Not nearly as difficult as learning 70 though.

If that is too much, then it's not so hard to split the lessons into 2 or 3 characters each time.

That looks good in my opinion. 13 initial lessons isn't too many and seems like a good idea to start with this many characters per lesson and break it down if you have instead of starting with less right away. After all people might not have a problem with this amount.

Well, this certainly is an interesting project and quite likely the one that stood out the most for me lately.

I don't know much about educational VNs so the project is interesting in that angle too.

I would love helping you as a beta tester (or any other possible way) and learning some Japanese would be pretty useful (never had any previous learning experience of Japanese language of any sort), but if you already have enought testers (which seems to be the case) i wish you good luck.

Too bad i took 2 years of japanese in high school also too bad i had a bad teacher so i hardly remember anything. Good luck though.
