Pricing & Payment
Below are my current rates. They may vary depending on the complexity of the request. Payment is made for each background individually. The first background must be paid for upfront before I will begin the commission, though subsequent backgrounds can be paid for on delivery. I send invoices via PayPal requesting payment in Australian dollars (AUD).

• Background - $99 each
  A high quality detailed background like those pictured above. Unless otherwise specified this will be a full HD image (1920 x 1080).
  
  Simple Variations — $9 each
  Such as time of day changes, removal of objects, etc.
  
  Complex Variations — $20 to $50 each
  Anything that requires significant changes to the original background, such as a destroyed version of something.

What I Need
Please present the things listed below when you approach me for a commission.

• A simple list of every background you want as well as the dimensions if they're different from those listed above.
• A short summary of the project including its name, setting, genre and basic plot.
• Any reference material you want me to use. (Please organise it in a single zipped folder and keep it reasonably sized.)
• The email address you would like invoices sent to.

Hmmm, This sounds really interesting! Me and my team would love you to do some of the backgrounds for our project, however I need to talk with them first regarding the payment, but I don't see how it'll be an issue since this is really good quality! Love the way you design those backgrounds!


We also look for a composer, while we have some in mind, I took the time to listen to the several pieces you've done, and I love it! It's precisely the style we aim for.

Just out of curiosity: does your skill set include CG artwork as well?

Hey tnm6. I assume you mean with CGs with characters in them, right? Right now I'm just a BG artist; I don't do character art. (Though I do plan on learning eventually; here's a test I did a little while back.) I have worked with character artists before and can provide versions of BGs with perspective / height references.

Also, I'll just take this opportunity to say I'm a 3D artist; I don't draw / sketch / paint. I do a little bit of paint over occasionally, but most of the time it's like 90% 3D art. A few people have contacted me asking for sketches and such. While I can make them, it actually takes almost as long as the final coloured art since I need to model everything either way.
