Hey LemmaSoft,

My names Qwerty and I'm the head of a VN project titled 'All is Fair in Dust and Air', a fan made Visual Novel set in the world and lore of the Guns of Icarus Online by Muse Games. Our group currently consists of 9 people that are tackling different areas of this project. This project is made with the permission and support of Muse Games.

I am taking on a share of the writing, a majority of the coding and a small share of art such as GUI and menu design. We have 2 other writers slaving away to craft our narrative, 2 other coders, 2 composers and 2 artists.

Techincal Mumbo Jumbo:

All is Fair in Dust and Air is a classic Visual Novel. There are no other gameplay elements other than the player's narrative choices (Narrative Agency).
The game has 1 Intro/Neutral arc, followed by 6 separate arcs that follow completely different storylines with little to no overlapping dialogue or scenes.
Each arc at the moment is around 50,000 words and the final product should come to about 350,000 words, with almost 200,000 of those allready written.
Each arc explores a different story, a different faction within the GoIO (Guns of Icarus Online) world and follow one the 6 different main female protagonists.

Story Nonsense:

Guns of Icarus Online is a Post-Apocalyptic Steampunk world/game that focuses on the combat of player manned airships. Each of the 6 different arcs of 'Dust and Air' are going to explore one the games 6 factions while dealing with completely different issues, themes, antagonists and main characters.

One of our narratives has the character looking into the political intrigue and betrayal of 'The Guild' while dealing with the issues of duty and freedom.
Another focuses on the bonds of family beyond all as the world turns against them
A third revolves around confronting the past, letting it go and moving on, using it to make you stronger.

Some of the stories can get quite dark and violent while others remain quite tame but raise interesting questions and feelings.

Allright so why am I typing here? What am I looking for if our team has this many people allready?

Well our largest problem is art. Both our artists are busy people and this means the art is falling quite behind the rest of the project, or holding up other areas.
This is an call for any artists interested in taking part in this project. You by no means HAVE to work with us for the whole project, you may do as much or as little as you wish be that a whole arc's worth or a single character.
Our ideal situation would be to have a different artist for each of the 6 arcs, to give them a further sense of individuality, a life of their own.

We do have some art to show of, of course. Have a quick gander at the character concepts thus far (sorry for the links, they are to large for the forums;

There are no real time constraints for this project. we are an easy going group that hopes to have the game released sometime next year. It doesn't matter how slowly you work as long as there is progress :D

Now please be aware that for the moment this position is unpaid. HOWEVER, we are in close with Muse Games and if the stares align they said they MAY publish this project should it be of an acceptable quality, in which case monetary matters will be worked out.

Additionally many of our members allready have decided to register our group (TTR Studio) as a real company should we meet a measure of success with this project, take that as you will.

We have a website for the project with a few updates;

If you are interested either drop me a line here or send me a message on the forums.

Thankyou for taking the time to read this and I hope (god do I hope) to hear from some of you soon.

Cheers,

Qwerty
