Background Artist for Hire

Hello! My name is Lucas, and I am a freelance artist.
I can do backgrounds, props, concepts, finished illustrations, characters,
and quite a lot more! I can even try to match an existing style or theme.
Take a look at some of my art, and if you are interested in hiring me,
send me a message or comment, or email me at: mr.lucasschneider@gmail.com

Some examples, starting with higher quality, more time consuming art, and going
down towards more simple and generally quicker stuff.

If you want to see some of my other art (Characters, line art, or other types of art not showcased here.)
Head over to my deviantART page: http://lucasschneider.deviantart.com/
When you look at the gallery, be sure to check out the different folders to see all the art.
Feel free to inquire about hiring me to work on different stuff, like the line art!

Thanks!

[EDIT] I have made some changes to this original post, and I will be posting more
examples, new work, and different stuff down below in a new comment. Also, I have
changed my pricing model in order to help more folks with more of their art needs.
Now, I would like to do commissions on a name-your-own-price base, where you can
come at me with a proposal of what you think a job is worth, and we can hash out a deal.
As above, feel free to shoot me an email at mr.lucasschneider@gmail.com

It's always great to have background artists! And your art is wonderful. :D

Curious, are you willing to do different styles? Like an anime or comic book style?

Thank you so much PhoenixStardust, it's really exciting to be here!

I am absolutely willing to do other styles! I have actually done a couple comics before, so I have a bit of experience there.
To be honest, I have never really delved into anime style art, but I am more than willing to give it a shot.
Feel free to take a look at my DeviantART page, there is a lot more, different work that I have done on there. =)

Great work. It might be worth showing or mentioning your comic stuff in the OP since it's pretty nice and there's some people around here that might be interested in that sort of art for their VNs.

It's nice to see another BG artist. It's also cool that you offer a price gradation. Good luck!

Amazing artwork. Out of my price range at the moment.

But who knows? If my Kickstarter is a massive success, and I have a spare $10,000 lying around, I may consider the $50 ones.

Thank you guys for the wonderful comments. Feel free to let me know all of your opinions about it, whether good or bad!
Tempus, I will certainly consider that! And I will have to check your art out as well. Thank's bud.
Lishy, I am certainly open to working on prices, none of them are set in stone. If you do ever get that 10,000, though, I am SO for hire.
Harumi Fujyoshi, Thank you so much! I really appreciate it.

Do you have more examples of $30 BGs?

I'm really loving that monolith-like $30 one. These are all so beautiful!

Lishy, I am finding some that are good examples of work that I would price similarly!
Fungii, thank you! With your, and Lishy's, prompts, here are a few more pieces that would fit in the same category.

Some of these, like the simple mountain, took MUCH less time and effort than the others, so something similar would be appropriately discounted. :)
In a similar way, the one in the center of the planet above the landscape could be a little more expensive, but not by much. I wanted to show how things are really flexible, and you can expect to get a good deal on whatever kind of art you need.
Thanks for the interest!
