Recruiting Collaborative Writer for NaNoRenO Centaur[closed]

I have decided I want to make a game for NaNoRenO this year-- and it's going to be about centaurs! However, I think the game would greatly benefit from an additional team member. I am primarily an artist and character designer, and the more I think about it the more I realize I probably can't come up with a good story and write it in a month!

So, if anyone is interested, I am looking for a writer to join me in this NaNoRenO project.

Creative Freedom: I have created some characters, and a good portion of the setting done. Adding more characters, creating plots, stories, and adding more to the setting is encouraged! I have a lot of facts about centaur society down, but haven't hammered out all the details regarding other races, etc. We would be working together on decision making from this point on. It's a collaboration, not a commission.

I'm also flexible on the gameplay, and am planning on working with my quickstart guide as a base. I don't want to get too intensive with gameplay-- and of course this is for NaNoRenO, so the story will be fairly short.

Now that the groundwork is laid, here's a bit about my story thus far:

Centaur live in nomadic tribes, hunting and herding as their livelihood. The young, elderly, and those otherwise unable to travel at the pace of the herd stay in "homesteads" under the supervision of a caretaker. Centaurs are descended from the gods, and as such are extremely long lived, and basically don't die natural deaths, along with other demi-human races. Birth rates are also fairly low, so there are few young in each homestead-- most are raised only with older centaurs.

In particular, our story starts with an extremely rare pair of centaur twins. They are just reaching the age where they can join the herd, and we follow them along their journey to adulthood. I don't have too much of a story going past that, but I do have a few characters:

-Twins. Female twin is very energetic and playful. Male twin is a bit more broody, struggling with the gender roles in centaur society. (The centaur tribe is matriarchal.)

-An adult centaur tasked with caring for the pregnant, young, elderly, and disfigured in the centaur community. Very kind hearted and nurturing, but can be a bit of a pushover.

-A centaur who must use a leg brace to walk, and is thus unable to run with the herd. Studies with the local scientific community to invent new technology.

-Three elder centaur. One strongly deviates from gender norms.

-Two human girls who ran away from an abusive situation and find themselves in centaur territory.

I'll be making the sprites for all the characters. So far, I have the centaur twins (Not completely finished):

Awww, if we weren't already making something for NaNo I would have loved to team up. Somehow I find it easier to make up stories when the sprites/characters are already existing

And the centaurs look really nice!

Thanks! I also find it easier when I have something drawn-- I'm glad it works that way for you, too! I was worried that if I had this much developed writers might not want to join.

I'll be making this game either way-- but hopefully I can find someone to collaborate with. I think it will be more fun to work together, too. ^^
