HELP WANTED!! For free otome Where the Wind Travels

Note: This post was originally just searching for artist but I didn't want to create a whole new post!

I have an idea for an otome that I've been working on but I need help!!
There's only so much you can do on your own...

Where the Wind Travels
I won't go into extreme details unless you're interested.

The story centers around a girl named Sheridan who has no memory prior to the age of 13 when a boy finds her. A year later they set out to find out who she is. After 3 years of searching without finding any clues something unexpected happens. What future awaits Sheridan in this story?

Characters:

Protagonist: Sheridan- 17 year old girl you play as. She's very naive for her age and loves anything that involves music.
Adair- The boy who found Sheridan. He has taken it upon himself to find out who Sheridan was. He's 2 years older then her(19).
Calum- A boy the same age as Sheridan who travels in a group of performers. Many think he's just a slacker.
Boynton- Also one of the travels. He seems so calm it's almost creepy.

And there's more but I don't want to revel to much.

I want it to have a slight Celtic theme(mostly in the music).

Some of the things needed:
I need someone or a team of people willing to do:
Character Sprites
Free music(having trouble with this)
Some more writers (Even though I've been writing it I'm starting to feel as though this is more for a group of writers)

Ask others who may be interested if you don't mind.

I'm currently working as a writer on another project.

Please feel free to comment.
I would like to hear any feedback at all.

I hope someone will consider helping me in the near future.

I am in interested in joining in as well. PM me and I can send you some samples of my art. Please do note that I'm still improving.

Also, I have experience with writing, so I can be an idea bouncer too, if you need one.

Man, I don't want to bother you, but that's a huge amount of work ^^ Do you plan to have different outfits, poses, and expressions for every character?

That being said, it's still possible to do the graphic part, but how will you manage the player's choices between 20+ characters? Even big VNs with large, experienced teams tend to stick to 4-5 characters. Believe me, it's really hard to create a non-linear story that involves a lot of choices.

But well, it's only my opinion ^^

:( There seems to be a misunderstanding...
The story does have up to 20 characters but I'm only planing on having up to 7 date able.
I mean come on, writing a story with 20 different romance able characters is insane if you're on your own.
And the story line itself is based on most choices changing the story entirely so, some of the characters you might not even see depending on the route.

Still looking for available talents!
That also includes background artists!
And I still offer my writing services free to any one with ideas so, spread the word!

You mentioned 4 projects:
1 there is no information about.
1 you decided to scrap one while writing your initial post.
1 you've written only one chapter for, and that the idea for it is still vague.
1 you had just thought of.

You also mentioned that you have no finished projects or even projects you've previously worked on and that you are offering to write for other people.

I'm not trying to discourage you at all, but perhaps you might want to focus on one project at a time?

I think people like to know the projects they will invest countless hours on with no remuneration are at least well underway and will definitely be finished.
For right now I won't be able to work on these projects but, am still looking for artist and any other available talents willing to work for free!!

I get what you're saying but, I do spend countless hours on each one.
The two I posted I had been working on for several months.
Also, I have another post looking for some help in the writing(kinda) here.

And I'm not used to writing these posts!
If the way I've written things has confused people I sincerely apologize!

Could I recommend something?
I agree with what's stated above, I think maybe you should focus on one story at a time, specially since you're expecting ALOT of art and music for... Free.
People work really hard on their art and music, but a cast that large + multiple outfits + 5-10 expressions each + CG and background work... Plus on top of that having 3-4 projects up there? Unless you get a team of 20 people volunteering and working full time I don't think you'll achieve goals that will satisfy everyone involved.

Artists working for free will want to know how much work they're getting into, but posting multiple projects shows indecisiveness and not clarifying how much work they'll have to put in for absolutely free. Indecisiveness also means inability to work on one thing for long periods of time, or shows a need to constantly change projects as new ideas form. Artists don't want to work with these kinda of people because it means a greater chance of their hard work going to waste.

I'm not saying you're a bad person, but I think you're more likely to get artists to help if you consider these things.

Honestly, you can find royalty-free music on your own if you just put in the time. And you can edit royalty-free photos in Photoshop if you need backgrounds in Photoshop. (I don't know if that's legally dodgy, though---I've been trying to figure that out myself.)

Editing public domain content is of course okay.
Anything else, depends on the license. Creative Commons works have codes that tell you exactly what you can and can't do with the work. If there's no other information, contact the creator.

Thanks for the information. I know there are some royalty-free things that come with certain strings attached, so I didn't want to imply that public domain stuff automatically gives one carte blanche in this kind of situation. You're right, of course---always check the license, and contact the creator if there's any doubt.
