~Artist For Hire (Open)~

#1 Post by JadeOokami »

It seems that I return here every once in a long while, usually after I feel I have improved a significant amount! Let us begin~

Firstly, I am an artist. Bad News: I am charging for my art. GOOD NEWS: I just moved voluntarily to part time at my day job, which gives me a lot of extra time. This mean first and foremost that I can spend much more time on any projects sent my way.

Now, the part most people are actually interested in (Details to be posted after so you don't have to scroll over everything I'm saying to see the actual art). I only have a few examples that I feel are current enough to show:
This is close to what my realism would look like. If you require a lined version with simpler coloring (Which is preferable), then that is absolutely fine.

This is the best example I currently have for what a CG may look like, and the most common kind of coloring I do, minus the hair.

Another example of daring and of a kind of coloring.

This is entirely for the DRAWING portion and not the coloring, as the coloring is outdated and I don't even think I could replicate it. Also example of a CG.

I don't really have any examples of any stand-alones that would work for sprites anymore. Hopefully you can get enough from these on what my styles look like. My preferred one is generally the second one.

WHAT I WILL DRAW:
- Men and Women, obviously.
- Mecha
- Fantasy and sci-fi preferable
- Fights
- Weapons
- Naked bodies but only if the genitals are covered. Boobs don't count.

WHAT I WILL NOT DRAW:
- Porn
- Furries (Not out of dislike, but because I never draw these and so I wouldn't trust my skill with them)

TRICKY:
-Animals/creatures. If you don't mind them simplified, we can talk about it. If it's integral to your story, I can give it a shot and you can decide for yourself.

{To be honest I'm drawing a blank on these. Everything else not mentioned is basically negotiable}

TECHNICAL
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sprites These can be either waist long or thigh long. Each 'sprite' is one pose and one outfit.
-Now, I seem to do expressions differently from any artist who have worked with visual novels that I have seen (Not that I've made it up, I'm certain I haven't, I just haven't seen anybody else do this yet). Because of this, i will not say you only get a set amount of expressions, but I will promise you that it will be more than the common expressions. You can also pick two custom expressions for free. You also have the option to have each expression come with an open and closed mouth version at no extra cost.
-I REQUIRE reference. And if it is (No offense to you) not by my standards good reference, then I will try my best to transfer it to my style. I would request some artistic liberties, unless you DO have good reference, in which case I'll try my best.
-------- EACH SPRITE is 13$ (I am only starting out this low. I will not remain so forever. Also, 13 is my lucky number ;P)
----------EACH extra outfit is 6$
----------EACH extra pose is 10$
If you get 3 or more of one of them (3 sprites, 3 outfits, or 3 poses) I will definitely lower the price. Basically, buy in bulk and I will give a very good discount.

CG

CG's take much more time and effort. A CG includes two people by default.
------------ EACH CG is 20$
------------------ I understand most games have more than one. For that reason, the more you get, the cheaper they are. For the first CG, the second will be 10$, UNLESS it includes a particular amount of complexity! Buy more than that and we can negotiate a lower price than the full as well.
-------------Each extra person is 7$

Other Services

All of these can also be only LINEART, if you were to, say, prefer someone else's coloring. If that's the case, we can talk about the price (Which would be less, of course).

Alternatively, I can color too, prices negotiable.

Any other sort of art (Full body, promotional, icons, logos, ect) need to be discussed. Prices vary.

I don't have as much experience, but I can assist in creating a GUI. Prices negotiable.

I can be your soundboard for your story ideas if you hire me for one of my other services. This is free of charge :) But please don't ask unless you want complete honesty. And I do mean complete honesty.

END NOTES

I'm sorry if that was too long. I hope that it was easy to understand and that my prices are fair. I also hope that some of you are interested. I need to use my free time ;)

I like your art. Maybe for my next project. :) The pricing is reasonable and I like the style.
