Now, as for my rates, which are completely negotiable. I understand how it is to fund a project out of pocket, so I tend to be pretty lenient based on the scope of the project.
I accept 50% payment up front, the rest when the designs are all done.
For Logos, depending on the complexity, I will charge anywhere from $5-25.
For GUIs I generally aim for $200 for a basic packaged deal. This includes:

This does not include extra menus like an ending checklist, CG gallery, music box, or anything like that.
I generally accept $20-30 for each aspect in the individual GUI screen, paying $200 for the basic package is a much cheaper option, I find. After all, for 20 aspects, that would cost $400 if paying individually.
However, should there be additional GUI screens--for instance, a music box or gallery--I will charge an additional $20-30 per aspect. By aspects, I don't mean individual buttons, as that would be ridiculous. Aspects include button groups (hover vs. non hover; menu vs navigation ), titles, text boxes, backgrounds, and decorations (borders, etc.).
However, if you do wish to pay individually, here is a sample of how aspects work:
Each of those colors is ONE aspect, and they cost $20-30 individually. And please note that I am willing to discount for bulk orders.
