Yes every time is random, but I just uploaded a new version with following changes:
- Goddess shows at 24 years now
- Added a button on relationship screen that toggles romance encounters on/off
- reduced the frequency of those bad random events
- slightly reduced the speed at which you raise your skills (since now the game lasts longer)
Alright, I'll be sure to play another round or two before I go to sleep.

Thanks, I'm interested to see if you can reach the Goddess ending without using the dice system. In theory should be hard, but possible. A trick is to do a job that makes you earn lot of money and then use the Study screen to quickly raise the skills needed at least for the 0-50 range (then becomes quite expensive). There is a bit of strategy involved, but shouldn't be too hard

Got closer this time around. My goal was to become a gardener need 99 Gardener and 75 Merchantile, but I only got 69 Gardening and 78 Merchantile. I was closer so that was good.
Found a weird error in the game. I was starting a new game and when I went to put my name in the game closed on me. Unfortunately, the game didn't make a traceback error, but I kind of figured out why it stopped working. Surprising it was because it closed every time I tried to put a 'o' in the character name. Trust me, I tried it with all the characters just to be sure and sure enough it kept closing on me. Not sure what the problem is though.

Ha lol sorry about the crash, I left a cheat inside the game!

(it was activated using some single keys, but when you try to enter a name and you press one of those keys, bad behaviour would appear like the one you described)
Going to fix that and reupload.

Every 30/15 = 2 years.
Fix it...

So far, I've tried the human race (I named her "Telia) for some time and got the titles "Saint" and whatever the merchant was and
got the Goddess ending
(spoiler?). I thought the dice system was a pretty nifty add-on since I had more of a hand in determining the luck of it. All in all, I enjoyed it like how I enjoyed the game beforehand.
There's one thing though: I was hoping that whenever I start a new game, I'd be able to collect more titles and see my previous achievements amongst the list of titles. But it continued on a blank slate. I guess I'm more of a collector to that sort of idea of achieving certain tasks.
Just a suggestion though since I could see why a persistence of titles could be left out. It does make sense for a new character to start out blank, instead of with all the titles that were possibly gained.

Thanks for the feedback: indeed my initial idea was to allow player to collect several titles, then I understood wouldn't make much sense (also because would be impossible). For now I'll leave it this way, maybe one day I'll think about a way to have "persistent titles" or something like that (but don't want to change anything big on this update for now).

I think a random name and a persistent name that can be chosen would be excellent for the purposes of any online roll.
Persistent = Closed source or offline.
Random = Open source or online.

Woah! When the normal version came out, I pondered about buying it, but I am glad that I waited for the Deluxe Version! Now that I have paypal, I'll definitely buy and play it, if someone would mind telling me the release data please
Btw, the changes look great! I am really looking forward to the deluxe version!!

It's out now. ^-^
Get it here. The page says Spirited Heart, but it's the same as deluxe. This version just replaced the original version.

I played the demo and I think it needs some music to play while you're doing general things like working.
