I have risen from the dead (Composer)

#1 Post by Nicol Armarfi »

I've been gone for some time now, and lord knows I probably have one of these topics up somewhere. But since it's been so long I figured I'd start fresh.

Essentially I am a composer, willing to work on whatever you throw at me. I'm willing to work on 2-3 projects simultaneously, so if you see I've already accepted someone's offer for work, don't be afraid to ask. The music I write ranges anywhere from good old baroque music to late romantic music, jazz to more oriental style modern instrumental music and etc. A few samples of my work:

Freelance
From the Heart
Bounce
Invention #2
Electric Zen
Canadian Nocturne

Katawa Shoujo
Afternoon
Stride
Moment of Decision ~ Piano Arrange

The Circular Gate
NRG
Lament

If you've got anything you need a composer for, post in this thread or drop me a PM with details about your game. If you'd like to speak to me elsewhere you can add me on MSN (nicolarmarfi_@hotmail.com).

Think you could handle a late 19th century American setting?

Your work is very nice. :)

Do you think you could handle a few pieces of normal, daytime music? The game takes place in the afternoon (well, around 2:30 maybe, or earlier), so the music would be a bit like Katawa Shoujo's "afternoon" that you did. 2 or 3 pieces would be good. The length can be whatever. ^^

Would you do two songs for my project, a funny one for the funny scenes and an action one? :D

I'm a little swamped with projects already, though I expect to be completing 1-2 of theme sometime in the next two weeks. If you can wait until spring break I'd be glad to help you, but if you need them before that I won't be able to help you.

Alright then :). I'll shoot you a PM once I'm ready to write those tracks for you, then I guess we'll figure out the rest from there.

Awesome work :D . Anyways, would you mind assisting in R3 Production's Aquae: Crystal Clear Waters? We're an established group of individuals whose already released our first chapter so I can guarantee you that your work will go towards a completed project. We're currently working on our 2nd arc and would love to have you assist in any way you can. Since part 2 is still in production, we're not in a hurry as I imagine that we'll be gunning for May/June as a tentative date for a release. Our style currently revolves around medieval/celtic/baroque periods and if you want I can send you the first chapter so you'll know what to expect. Although we need several pieces, we need primarily need a main theme right now. Personally, I'm imagining something similar to the Genso Suikoden II Opening Theme which you can probably youtube for an example. Let me know if this interests you. Thanks!

To those who are wondering what happened to Consonance, it has been put aside for the time being due to my job situation.

Very nice songs :D
Just wondering if you're still available to work on requests? Also, can I use your pre-existing works, if I find one that matches what I need? I just thought that would be the safer option, seeing how I'm aiming to finish NaNoRenO and just need some BG music

Out of topic, did you use any particular software to write/record your songs? If yes, do you mind telling what software it is...
