[WIP] Project 3Seasons Character colorist needed.

No matter how you try and pretty it up, the world we live in can sometimes be quite cruel. Michal, on the other hand, sees everything for what it is; he doesn't try to hide the fact that the world is imperfect. But when his life takes a turn for the worse, he decides to take initiative and start fixing problems. But how can he fix anything if he doesn't even know how to deal with his own problems?

Our original goal with this project - aside from simply having fun writing our own Visual Novel - was to take all the anime cliches we have grown accustomed to and turn them on their heads; while playing 3Seasons you may notice a few quirks here and there that might seem familiar to you, but we have spiced all that up with a healthy dose of reality. But as we tossed our ideas around and came to writing our story, it has evolved into something more for us. While by no means campy, we are attempting to establish a tone not unlike that of the works of Mamoru Hosoda. If we succeed in our goals, there will be a rollercoaster of emotion - the bad times will be bad, believe us - but in the end what we want most is to inspire people.

Did I mention that it takes place in America? There's one cliche down.

Hey guys, I've been lurking for quite a while now while working on my VN which has finally hit the actual writing/script stages. I have sketches and almost final designs of the character looks, and was just wondering if there was anyone out there who would be willing to color for me. I'll post some samples.

P.S, the character development and general plot and themes development took forever...Sadly, I am not the artist, but simply a project lead :D

The art looks really good in the sketches. I'm not an artist so I can't help you. Hope you find someone soon~. By the way, can you post a summary of the story? The artist won't work on something they don't even know what is it about.

Hey, yeah, um... first post, yay. I'm second-in-command for the VN, doing the writing and programming. Help would be appreciated.

Thanks! Our artist is a really amazing guy, yeah. This project probably wouldn't be where it is without him.

Coloring is an issue, though! So if any of you coloring bros or gals could lend us a hand, that would be so awesome.

We might post a summary of the project, I dunno. Flying by the seat of our pants at the moment, because quite frankly that's just how we roll. Well, that's how I roll anyway. Dunno about Dark.

Perhaps I'll see if I can do a quick summary if it passes by Kai and the other people in the staff. As he said, coloring would be really nice, as we have a talented artist but no CG ;__;

Our Backgrounds are going to go with the photoshopped picture route. I liked the filter use that I have seen in other VNs.

EDIT: Quick thing posted. Shame that Kai didn't want to go into specifics.

So yeah, there you go. Original Post updated with a nice little summary, thread title altered.

Dark says I was a bit vague writing the summary, but whatev'. Writing big huge summaries is like putting all the awesome features of the game on the box art; not only does it look ugly, but it's a bit arrogant.

Because I feel like sharing, some of my influences include The Wonder Years, Freaks and Geeks, The Digimon Movie and Persona 3. Also, real life! It's amazing how much inspiration can come from just... thinking about real life friends and events. I also like long walks on the beach, and 80's synth-pop.

Freaks and Geeks! You've got me hooked just by mentioning it.
(Sorry I can't help with the coloring though.)
