I am seeking a bg artist for my visual novel who is willing to do lots of background scenes. If you are interested please pm me.

Is this a new game? If not, you should probably post the request in your existing game forum that way you don't have to re-familiarize everyone about what the game is about to garner interest. You don't really see alot of posts like:

[WIP] After School - (Need Artist)
[WIP] After School - (Need BG Artist)
[WIP] After School - (Need editor)
etc.

Usually you can put all your requests into 1 thread. Not meant to be critical, just a suggestion, as I don't think there's any "rule" about this.

That being said, background work, from what I've seen, is the least interesting for an artist to do in their spare time for free. If you don't find someone, there's a slew of free school based BGs around that may work for you. Check out the free resource wiki.

Namely, ButtercupSaiyan's work (BSC), Kaikei Sozai Mise or Mei Miyamura. Also search this forum for "backgrounds" as people have posted other free resources they've found as well, just make sure you can legally use it, free game or not.

YEah, I know I was bneing lazy because I have typed out recruitments for my project (no name yet) two or three times so I was getting bored of it, especially as I am letting the project guide itself and only have a set begining and ending which I don't want to give away. As for the pre made BGs I wasn't aware and might use them as place holders but I have some important backgrounds I need done that are rather specific and just for fun, the first day in my vn is introducing the character and scene to a extent I was thinking of having the other main characters appear in the background so if you were looking closely you would notice them. Thanks for the advice though.
