I am working on black butterfly, to those who actually remember, xD But I've been here for about two years and I've always wanted to do NaNoRenO (or is it InteRenAiMo for me?), and I was, um, inspired recently by a certain blog and a hobby of mine to make a Music Themed VN <3

The reason why I'm starting recruiting now is because I'm planning to make a BxG and a GxB side (because I'm a masochist like that), and I would like to have two artists for each game...or one, if you too are a masochist
And since this is a music VN, it'd be really cool if we got original music for it, right?
So for the artists:
- Anime Style (It would just fit better, since this particular VN is supposed to be pretty light-hearted and this VN is basically inspired by Japanese idol singers, real life and Nico Nico Douga)
- Is willing to do at least five character sprites sets for the game of choice (and maybe one or two more)
- Would be a plus if you were willing to design the sprites based on their personality... BUT I'm willing to design.
- Would also be a plus if you could do backgrounds, but we're on a tight schedule here, so no pressure.
And if there is a nice person willing to compose~
- Mostly light-hearted music. Think idol songs, maid songs, anime songs, Vocaloid songs (well, the happier ones. If you're in the Vocaloid fandom, think more of songs like Melt, World is Mine, samfree's Night series (Luka Luka Night Fever) and so on. If you like Idol Master, think more of Do-Dai, Go My Way, yeah. )
- However we'll probably need some sad songs, because there's always some kind of conflict -shot-. And some tension songs.
Oh, so you wanted to know about the story.
It's a bit rough, and details are subject to change.I ... wrote the girl's side first, so forgive me.
Shizuna - a university student who works part time in a idol-themed maid café. A naturally friendly person, though she has temper issues toward certain people. For a long time, she has dreamed of being a singer and has no problems showing off during the weekly karaoke nights, and mainly got the job out of her enthusiasm for singing. She has no patience for studying, and is currently going for a degree she has no intention to use.
Misaki - a clumsy boy that Shizuna bumps into at an arcade. Has a boyish face, and you can't help but notice how helpless he is (whether at crane games, holding ice cream, keeping balance). However, he is usually smiling no matter how many times he falls, and talks in a calm voice constantly, to the point that Shizuna thinks it's sort of monotone.
Akio - One of Shizuna's patrons at her cafe. He's pretty loud, loves to tease Shizuna knowing that she cannot doing anything about it, and often comes to the karaoke nights somewhat drunk so he can sing really badly (because they play a game to determine who sings, the idol-maid, or the customer.) They don't exactly have a good relationship, but Akio often requests her when he comes.
Chihaya - Shizuna's classmate at her university. She doesn't really like him much, because he tends to flaunt his genius around, but due to her terrible studying habits, she requests his help often. He doesn't mind, because he doesn't have much friends, and she's willing to bear his behavior for the sake of appearances. He mentions that he doesn't like the proliferation of otaku in the area where Shizuna works, so Shizuna doesn't mention her part time job to him.

For the BxG side
Hikaru ) - a man who is often seen wearing a cloak and sunglasses in the middle of the sweltering summer. Although the city is filled with strangely clad people, he's still quite the anomaly and (usually foreign) tourists like to take pictures of him when he makes a rare appearance. He hasn't been in the area much, only appearing about two months prior to the game, and doesn't talk much. He never takes off his sunglasses.
He doesn't actually have a home, and tends to sleep in motel rooms or sometimes generous people's rooms. However, feeling guilty for being a burden on many people, he wants to get a job, which is where his game starts.
Natsu - a street idol who has been performing for four years, and is revered as an older sister to many incoming idols. While some of her peers have become mainstream, she remains, not wanting to leave. Although she knows how to act cute and moé, she is aware of the problems facing her city, and wants to keep the freedom of her music alive.
Urumi - a young woman who works as a barmaid. She's quite...friendly towards Hikaru (but actually, she's pretty much friendly toward just about everyone who is her customer, and likes to chat. She doesn't mind flaunting herself around, and likes to drink, but she has something against innocent types of girls (like maid girls). However, when it comes to talking about her life, she is quite silent.
Tomoka - a broke illustrator who is a total nerd for visual novels and doujin/indie/internet singers, especially a guy with the name Nimayan. She has no musical talent, but is a great artist, saying that she has been commissioned to design cd covers for some, however, she ends up spending money for her the things that she loves. She came to the city because she had heard that Nimayan was living here, and she wanted to meet him in real life, even just to hear him sing.

However, it would be great if someone could the galge/BxG side of things...
Well, I don't think I can take on all of them... (Sorry, I'm not masochist enough XD) Unless I'm only doing line art, then I could do all of them lol
